Mission Peru has been a roller-coaster of emotions so far. Some negative, experienced when seeing such drastic poverty, and some good, like when we play with the kids from the daycare. But through all of it I’ve had one verse in my head. One verse that has kept me going even when I’m tired, battered and bruised. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. It has given me the strength to do that extra little bit of work or calm my nerves in situations that I wasn’t familiar or comfortable with. I knew that Christ was and is with me and that is beyond calming. Peru has been such an amazing experience, and I’ve made memories that will last a lifetime and served God at the same time. I’ll miss every part of it.

I just read all the posts and viewed all the pictures. WOW, so inspiring!! It certainly looks like you had fun, learned a lot about the Peruvian culture and gave of your time. Bless your heart!! I am sure you made a difference!!
Love you lots!! Looking forward to seeing more pictures and speaking to you personally about your experiences.
