Hello Mission Peru Team! We pray for each of you daily, that our Lord will protect you, give you courage in sharing your faith, and deepen your trust in God. With Love.

Praying for you as a team from 1 Thess 5:16-18 that you would find yourselves rejoicing always, praying without ceasing and giving thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. I am sure that you will be learning much about yourselves and much about how God is working all over the world. Remember that God's mercies are new every morning on all people. May you be a great blessing to those you serve!

Wow! The Spanish sounds amazing, great job girls on learning the language, immersing yourselves in the culture (including playing soccer) and becoming like the Peruvians. I'm sure the locals also enjoy and appreciate the effort you "gringos" put in to be there. Thank you Laura, Adora, Giselle, Sophia, and Melody for sharing what your team has been doing and your personal reflections these past few days. The level of poverty is certainly a stark contrast from what we see and experience in suburban Canada, however I would almost argue that we in North America are spiritually impoverished when you see the faith and trust in the Lord that the Peruvians have. We pray that as you take in the sights and sounds of the next few days, God would break your heart for what breaks His, but that you would also see there is beauty in the brokenness - and God can redeem ANY person and ANY situation no matter where they are. We are so very proud of you all and miss you dearly! (P.S. It should say "Melody To" lol)
